TyEL insurance

TyEL insurance is a statutory insurance that will safeguard the pension security of your employees. As an employer, you are required to take TyEL insurance for employees who earn at least 68.57 € per month and fall within the insurable age range. You must take the insurance no later than in connection with the first payment of salary or wages.

Reporting earnings information

You must report the salaries, wages and other earnings you’ve paid to your employees to the Incomes Register within five days of the salary payment. Submit a report after each salary payment. Elo will calculate the TyEL insurance contributions to be paid as well as the pension accrual for your employees on the basis of information submitted to the Incomes Register.
