Online Pension Service for private customers
You can manage your pension and benefit matters online: the Online Pension Service provides you with information about your own earnings-related pension security and enables you to apply for pension and benefits.
Elo’s pension recipients or those in vocational rehabilitation can manage their pension and benefit matters within the service. Any customers who have selected the paperless service will receive all documents directly to the Online Pension Service.
Using Elo’s Online Pension Service is easy
1. Log in to the Online Pension Service
Log in to the service using your personal online banking codes (Nordea, Osuuspankki, Danske Bank, S-pankki, Handelsbanken, Sp/Pop identification service or Ålandsbanken’s e-identification service) or with a mobile certificate.
2. Manage your pension and benefit matters
The Online Pension Service enables you, for example, to view your pension record and pension estimates, to apply for pensions and benefits, to increase your tax rate, to make bank account changes, to submit attachments and to view online documents.
3. Log out of the service
Remember to click on “Log out” before you close the service. Empty your browser memory and page history, and remember to close all browser windows.
The Online Pension Service is your assistant in pension and benefits matters - in the Service you can:
The service provides you with the following estimates:
- old-age pension
- partial early old-age pension and subsequent final pension, (if you are over the age of 55)
- disability and partial disability pension and
- a rehabilitation allowance.
The service does not provide estimates:
- for partial early old-age pension for those under 55
- for old-age pension following a part-time pension
- if you are already retired and want an estimate of the pension accrued earned alongside another pension.

Your pension record shows employment relationships and related earnings as well as periods of entrepreneurial activities and possible other benefits from which you have accrued pension. If you check your pension record between April and December, you will not receive the pension record in paper form during the same year.
If you want to be able to access your pension record whenever it’s most convenient for you and you no longer wish to receive the record by mail to your home, you can choose our online pension record option. At the same time, remember to submit your phone number and, in the future, we will send you regular reminders to review your pension record.
If you believe that information in your pension record is incorrect or missing, fill out the correction request form found in the Online Pension Service.
Old-age pension, partial early old-age pension, spouse’s pension for a widow(er), disability pension and a continuation of your rehabilitation subsidy can be applied for through Elo’s Online Pension Service. If you chose to do so, you are not required to submit any separate paper applications. A child's pension and career pension application form has to be sent separately through the Submission of attachment service.
The service can also be used to apply for vocational rehabilitation and the reimbursement of travel expenses that arise in connection to rehabilitation. You are not required to submit any separate paper applications in addition to your online application.
If you are a recipient of an earnings-related pension, you can print out a pension certificate from the service that shows the amount of monthly earnings-related pension paid by Elo during the current/previous years.
You can increase the tax rate for your pension or rehabilitation allowance if you wish to pay more than the withholding rate calculated by the tax authorities.
You can order a new pension card to replace a lost or damaged card if you are receiving old-age pension or permanent, full disability pension from Elo. The card entitles you to different discounts for pensioners (e.g., Finnair, Matkahuolto and VR).
You can use the service to notify us of a change in the bank account used by Elo to pay your earnings-related pension. A foreign bank account cannot be submitted through this service. If your address, email address, phone number or name changes, the easiest way to notify Elo of this is through the Online Pension Service.

Choose our paperless service to receive your pension-related documents directly to the Online Pension Service, where they will remain accessible to you for a period of five years.
