We monitor the usefulness of the content on the website using the page-specific Askem feedback function. Page-specific feedback cannot be given without accepting this cookie. No personal or contact details should be entered in the open feedback field, and the feedback provided is not responded to. Elo uses the feedback to develop its services. The service also enables users to share content from Elo’s website in their own social media channels. Askem’s cookies store a randomly generated string in the visitor’s browser, which is used to identify events originating from the same browser. The cookies cannot be used to identify users. Askem does not disclose data onwards, and no other third parties can use the cookies or data that can be linked to them.

Cookieless analytics for web services
We monitor the use of our web services using the Matomo analytics tool when you use our web service while logged in. Usage data is utilised, among other things, for:
- ensuring the technical functioning and usability of the web service
- identifying and correcting error situations
- developing the service and improving quality
- ensuring information security and preventing misuse
The analytics are implemented without cookies (cookieless tracking). The data processed consist of technical and event data concerning the use of the service (e.g. visits, page views, use of functionalities, device and browser data, IP address), which relate to the customer relationship and use of the service. The data are primarily used in aggregate form and are not used for user profiling or marketing.
In addition, we use cookieless Siteimprove analytics, through which we obtain information on the most viewed pages and behaviour paths. With the help of the data, we can see, for example, how pages are used, which pages are visited and what functions are used on them.
Legal basis for the processing of personal data
We process data concerning the use of the web service on the basis of the controller’s legitimate interest. Our legitimate interest is to ensure and develop the usability and quality of our web services and to detect and prevent disruption and misuse situations.
The user has the right to object to the processing of personal data based on this legitimate interest on grounds relating to their particular situation. Requests concerning objection may be submitted using the contact details stated in the privacy notice.
Some of the data are also processed on the basis of statutory obligations, such as for the purpose of fulfilling requirements related to information security and the traceability of events.
Protection and retention of data
Usage data are protected by appropriate technical and organisational measures. Analytics data are processed in the controller’s own environment, and the data are not transferred to the cloud service or to other external parties. Data are processed only for predefined purposes and are retained only for as long as necessary for providing the service and in development work, as well as for fulfilling statutory obligations.
