Elo and Suomen Yrittäjät research the well-being and the resilience of entrepreneurs

Updated on 30 November: The survey is open until the end of week 50!

Elo and Suomen Yrittäjät are conducting the Menesty yrittäjänä (“Successful Entrepreneurship”) study to look into the resilience of entrepreneurs in Finland, factors that affect success and the current state of the well-being and work ability of entrepreneurs.

The goal of the study is to discover the current and future effects that changing working life and operating environment have on entrepreneurship. The study will examine the resilience as well as which factors helped entrepreneurs manage in the exceptional situation caused by the coronavirus.

“In addition to business factors, we want to better understand what kind of leadership has allowed entrepreneurs to handle the crisis,” says Katja Ekman, Development Manager, Elo.

The study will also investigate the state of entrepreneurs’ own well-being and work ability.

“An entrepreneur’s own well-being and good work ability are necessary for successful business. Entrepreneurship is stressful and it is very likely that stress factors have only increased this year,” points out Ekman.

You can participate in the study by clicking here. The survey is open until the end of week 50. Both solo entrepreneurs and entrepreneurs with employees are welcome to participate in the study. Completing the survey takes about 10 minutes. It is available in Finnish, Swedish and English. 400 winners of an audiobook/e-book will be drawn in a raffle among all participants.

The results will be published in January 2021.

Elo has commissioned Aula Research Oy to carry out the study.
