Elo's work ability information
We produce surveys and analyses on current phenomena in working life, as well as factors affecting work ability and disability in Finnish working life. The aim of our research activities is to support the work ability management and the researched information is used to develop Elo's work ability services.
We publish annual reports on various themes, utilizing registry data on disability pensions and vocational rehabilitation, as well as survey and interview data on work ability, disability risks, and work ability management.
Supervisors' work ability and workload strain within a changing work environment
In autumn 2024, we carried out a survey study and produced up-to-date information on the work ability and work-related stress of supervisors, with particular focus on the intellectual demands and cognitive load of the work. Our survey provides workplaces with guidelines for supporting the work ability and work functionality of first-line supervisors.
