Elo’s Annual General Meeting elected new members to the company’s Supervisory Board
Elo’s Annual General Meeting, held on 21 April 2014, elected new members to the Supervisory Board and appointed the company’s auditor. The Annual General Meeting approved the financial statements and the consolidated financial statements, decided on the disposal of the profit in accordance with the proposal of the Board of Directors, and released from liability the members of the Supervisory Board and the Board of Directors, and the Managing Director.
CFO Heikki Kyntäjä (Atria Group) (representing EK) and Chairman Veli-Matti Kuntonen (Finnish Foodworkers’ Union SEL) (representing SAK) were elected as new members of the Supervisory Board.
The following members whose term expired were re-elected: Mia Harkko (SAK), Johanna Heikkilä, Sauli Huikuri, Timo Jaakkola (EK), Jussi Järventaus, Olavi Kaukonen, Timo Lepistö, Otto Mikkonen (EK), Pekka Rantamäki, Ansu Saarela, Klaus Saarikallio (EK), Pentti Virtanen (EK), Janne Ylinen and Jaana Ylitalo (SAK).
Additionally, Managing Director Katariina Poskiparta (Finnish Student Health Service) and Vice President Antti Ylikorkala (Attendo Finland) were elected to serve as members of the Supervisory Board until the Annual General Meeting in 2016, and Managing Director Kustaa Piha (Med Group), Senior Vice President of Finance Maija Hjelt (Veikkaus Oy) and Chairman Marko Piirainen (Transport Workers’ Union AKT) (SAK) until the Annual General Meeting in 2017. Based on the decision of the Annual General Meeting, the Supervisory Board of Elo will have 54 members.
The Annual General Meeting decided that there will be no changes to the annual fees payable to the Chairman and Deputy Chairmen of the Supervisory Board, or to the meeting fees payable to all members. The KHT audit firm Ernst & Young Oy was appointed as the auditor for Elo.
