Pension card and pension certificate
Earnings-related pension card
You are entitled to the earnings-related pension card when you have permanently moved to full earnings-related pension. You will receive the card if you are
- on old-age pension,
- on disability pension, or
- on career pension.
The card is not granted to those receiving rehabilitation allowance, partial disability pension, partial early old-age pension, or family pension.
Discounts with the pension card
With the pension card, you can get discounts on various products and services. Always ask directly at the service point about discounts.
Discounts are offered, for example, by Matkahuolto and VR. You can also get discounts on various sports and cultural services.
Download the electronic pension card
The electronic pension card is available after your pension starts. It is always conveniently with you on your mobile phone.
How to get the electronic pension card:
- Log in to our online service with your mobile phone.
- Download the pension card from the Payments tab in the online service.
- Save the downloaded card on your phone or show it directly from the online service when needed.
If you still use paper mail, you will receive the pension card by post a few weeks after the pension decision. If your plastic card is lost or damaged, you can order a new one in our online service for private customers by sending a message via the Messages tab or in chat.
Pension Certificate
If you need a certificate showing the amount of your pension, you can download, print, and save it from the Payments tab in our online service.
In the online service, you can choose:
- the language of the pension certificate (Finnish, Swedish, or English), and
- the time period for which you want information about the paid pension.
If you need a signed or stamped pension certificate, for example for a visa, send us a message about this via the Messages tab in our online service.
