Security in case of a reduced work ability

Vocational rehabilitation may provide the means for you to continue working or to return to working life even though your work ability is reduced. Sometimes, however, rehabilitation is insufficient and it may be necessary to apply for disability pension. Find out which option works best for your particular health situation. In Elo’s Online Pension Service, you can do the following:

Rehabilitation

Vocational rehabilitation is always the primary alternative to disability pension. It is intended to provide a means to re-enter working life, if you are able to work despite having an illness or injury.

Elo’s Online Pension Service is an easy way to apply for a preliminary decision concerning your eligibility for vocational rehabilitation. You will need a medical statement B for your application.

Disability pension

You are entitled to disability pension if you are under your personal pensionable age, you are unable to work because of an illness or injury and rehabilitation is not an option in your health situation.

Disability pension can be applied for through Elo’s Online Pension Service. Please note that you will need to submit a medical statement B with your application.
